This is an excellent program and Shannon sees detail that other teachers often miss. She fully explains her corrections and provides lots of visual support and cues that massively help when making changes. She preserves trying other explanations and cues when things don’t work initially and is always positive and encouraging. Lots of improvements have been made as a direct result of being part of this program and I very much see it as an integral part of my future training.

My daughter is having an amazing experience working with Shannon. Shannon’s knowledge and professionalism are unquestionable but it’s her obvious gift for teaching that set her apart and she works tirelessly and patiently making sure she gets the right response offering many different explanations, demonstrations and visual cues to support her corrections. My daughter has made amazing progress in the short time she’s been taking lessons and will definitely continue to work with Shannon as part of her overall vocational training.

I had such an amazing private with The Ballet Advantage. We worked on so much depth of things that I had only skimmed before. After exercises I could feel muscles clicking into place and that is one of the best feelings – especially when you have been working on something for so long and then it just works! I have learned so much from TBA! So far I have done their turnout upgrade, and I have definitely noticed improvements in my rotation. I have also gained a good understanding about how the turnout muscles work and how to use them properly. Overall, the turnout upgrade has really helped my performance in class and I cannot wait to learn more from TBA!
