Join audition expert & professional dancer Rebecca Haw as she dissects and analyzes every aspect of the professional dance resumé (spoiler alert: it’s not the same as the job resumés you learn to create in school!). Ms. Haw will literally walk you through step-by-step on how to create the perfect dancer resumé from start to finish, and example templates will be provided. Emails & Research: How to Use These Tools to Increase Your Audition Odds
This session with audition expert & professional dancer Rebecca Haw will be divided into two parts:
(1) Emailing:
Does the thought of emailing companies and artistic directors scare you? Do you even have to send these sorts of emails? Ms. Haw is here to guide you through this scary process, step by step, and answer all your questions along the way. She’ll dive deep into exactly when you’d want to email a company directly, how and why this would be of benefit to you and your audition chances, and of course walk you through the dos and don’ts of how to write a professional, well-structured email.

Is research really necessary when it comes to auditioning for companies? If so, how and what should you be researching, and how can you use this information to improve your audition odds? In addition to answering these questions, Ms. Haw will be going deep into exactly what you should be researching, and how you can use it to your advantage when selecting companies to audition for and impressing artistic directors.
